How Often Should Brands Post On Social Media?

In the tests we carried out on 5 different accounts, the number of impressions of the posts made 2-3 days apart was generally higher, while the number of impressions in the accounts that were shared every day was lower.

We concluded that the reason for this is due to the algorithm of social media. Because new posts do not always appear in front of users organically. In the tests we conducted, the reach of the posts increased for the first 36-48 hours but started to decline after that.

So, What Does It Mean?

If posting every day gives you the results you want and you get effective feedback, of course, keep doing it.

However, don’t decide what is good for your brand’s social media accounts without experimenting and testing. Analyze thoroughly.

There is a statistics section on every social media. Find it and start making deductions. And when the previous post’s reach starts to drop share something else.

Posting less might increase the expectation and the value of your profile.
