The Future of User Experience (UX) – What Can We Expect?

We are not prophets, but in the last 10 years, we have witnessed significant changes in this profession and we have seen and continue to see that almost all of these changes occur as technology develops.

Today, designers have moved away from the art side of the job and have become people who follow technology very closely, in a way. So, if we want to know what awaits UX in the future, we must know the future of technology.

We have listed the titles that we think will radically change the UX-related professions in the next 5 years. Enjoy.

Technology and Fashion

Textile companies will hire engineers and UX designers as they will want to use innovative technologies in clothing as well. E.g.; A smart suit that can absorb solar energy and charge any device you put in your pocket.

Wearable Devices

With AI-powered assistants, these devices will be in a position to supply all our necessary needs. They’ll be able to book hotels, order food, and even translate foreign conversations. Some of them have already started to do what we have listed. You can be sure that they will do their transactions more consistently and quickly in a very short time.

Global Automation and Robotic System Design

Today, 45% of jobs available are automatable jobs. Robotic arms, machines, etc. will mostly replace humans in manufacturing and delivery. Designers, on the other hand, must be able to create an interactive interface between robots and humans and produce solutions for smart drones and other robotic operating systems.

Drawing Skill

Machine learning will provide the opportunity for anyone to make good designs and mock-ups. All you have to do is drag and drop the design dimensions, features, and images you want to be included in the design.
